8) Check the Space check box in the Delimiters

section.

9) Check the Treat consecutive delimiters as

one check box.

10) Click the Finish button.

Excel will import your data and display it in four

columns:

Column A: Date.

Column B: Time.

Column C: Register #2 – Rate.

Column D: Register #12 – Total.

Note:

If you want, you can also set the format of the data in

the columns in Text Import Wizard – Step 3 of 3.

You can now use your text file data to compile graphs, etc.

Figure 13 is an example of a graph constructed from captured text

in Microsoft Excel.
